There are many ways to give someone Birthday Wishes:

1. Send a conventional Greeting Card
2. Send an electronic greeting card
3. Send an email
4. Send a gift with a conventional greeting card.

What I found is sending an electronic greeting card or an email when sending someone Birthday Wishes is not very personal. Other than the flash of thought relative to acknowledging ones birthday an email or an electronic greeting card does not give the recipient the same warm feeling as a conventional greeting card. Then when you combine the conventional greeting card with a gift (It can even be a token gift costing as little as $5.00) the maximum amount of gratitude is felt by the recipient of the Birthday Wishes.
